Monday Devotion

Karen and I have lived in 9 different houses in our married lives.  As we looked for the different houses, we had different needs at the different times of our lives.  We also had different funds available at those different times.  We were in search of the perfect house.  As believers, our bodies are the temple or house of the Lord.  What does the perfect believer’s body look like?  How do you furnish the house of God?  Do you find yourself making those needed home improvements?  What would the world see as your value?

Isaiah 56:7 (NIV)
⁷ these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations."
