What do you thirst for? Where is it that you long to be? I noticed that the local movie theater/entertainment center has a name change. I have heard that they have upgraded their amusement games. There is nothing wrong with the company doing things to draw people to their establishment. It reminds me that the world in which we live is a spiritual battleground. God created us with a thirst for Him, a built-in desire to come to Him. I want to encourage you, as I was encouraged this morning in scripture, to thirst after the living God.
Psalm 42:1-2 (ESV)
1 As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God.
2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?
