This morning I put out some birdseed in my wife's bird feeders. As I sat on the back patio, I witnessed two birds of the same kind eating the birdseed. One ate what was placed in the bowl while the other pecked out what it did not want and threw it to the ground. At times I want to be like the second bird and throw off my plate what I don't like. Instead, I need to accept what God has allowed on my plate.
