Joy is different from happiness. Happiness often depends on what is happening around us, but the joy of the Lord comes from knowing who is with us.
There will be days when everything goes our way, and there will be days when nothing seems to go right. But our joy doesn’t have to change with our circumstances. We can rejoice because God is still faithful, His promises are still true, and His presence is still with us.
